I was threatened by a shadowy cabal of market makers that warned me to stop sharing their secrets. But I care too much about you guys to stay silent. You deserve know what the smart money is doing so you can profit from their Pro strategies.
Everybody is trying to convince new traders to trade like a pro. Trade like a pro statements are nothing but clickbait titles from authors that just want to promote content. It taps into your desire to be successful and gives you permission to suspend your better judgement.
If you’re a beginner then you need to be looking to learn beginner principles. Then building on them to establish a well studied understanding of what to look for and what you might expect to see in price action.
It is so easy to be sucked in by people telling us that they can get us pro level results without the work. Be sure to show me a trader that is still around after 2 years from following ‘trade like a pro guides’ on twitter and You Tube ect. They probably don’t exist.
Here are a few titles from You Tube.

Breakthrough Scalping Strategy That You Need To Know.

Learning tips, tricks and strategies fails to teach you principles that will eventually lead to pro level trading. Learning to trade profitably is like any other career. You stack your skills and experience. Come on people, you know this.
It starts by finding one setup and testing it in the real world and adjusting as you go. Hundreds of people are peddling their own version about trading like a pro. You could spend 6-12 months just reading all their particular claims. Or you could do the simple but boring work of testing a setup and building a plan around the results.
The space is full of people trying to sell you their opinion. 1.2 trillion results on google for “trade like a pro” most of which are “Me too” content creators putting their own spin on the subject.
Reasons why you should stop following ‘Trade Like a Pro’ advice on socials.
It distracts you from the real work.
Trying to trade like a pro will bring you endless dead-end frustration.
Pro traders use knowledge dependant thinking that is beyond the skill level of the beginner.
Trying to trade like a pro doesn’t take your level of experience into account.
You lack the perspective to know good info from bad.
Professional level trading is a result of lessons learned over time.
Trading is a skill that is learned from experience. Not from shortcuts and answers that you find in the back of a math textbook.
New traders follow this type of advice because they lack the perspective to see it for the distraction that it is. I really don’t want to be talking trash about other traders and creators but the abundance of rubbish that is reaching new traders is imposable to avoid. These people are abusing your trust and wasting your time at huge financial cost to you.
I found my turning point a while ago and it allowed me to see this guru content for what it is.
Pros are pros not just because they have technical skills but because of the mindset and behaviours that they have developed as a product of years of experience in trading.
You simply cannot learn that from a trade like a pro guru.
Trade like a pro gurus tell you that it is simple if you just follow the secret strategy that they discovered after being kidnapped by a shadowy cabal of inner circle market makers that control the markets. And if you know what the smart money is doing you can profit from knowing how they push price. Of course I bring you this secret at great risk to my life. (because I love you guys so much) Just pay $499 for my mentorship program.
I have no problem with paid mentors or paid courses. They can actually be a real game changer. But you shouldn’t look to them as a short cut or a replacement for hands on experience. Do the beginner stuff that I talk about in other posts first. When you have levelled up on that stuff then you might actually get some value from a more advanced trading coach.
But for now, just be aware that trade like a pro content is not going to be much help.
Newbie traders should focus on doing newbie things. That’s where you will make the most progress.
Edit: Every trader is different and has their own edge. Pro advice isn’t really pro advice because it has to be homoginised for general consumption on socials. Also learning one aspect of a pro trdaers strategy doesnt make you like them. You could journal like them, use stops like them but it doesnt make you equal to their trading.
